Eben is the Founder and President of Ampacity, formerly RP Construction Services, and oversees the company’s go-to-market strategy and execution plan. He remains heavily involved in all aspects of the company from its operational execution plans, financial reporting and analyses, sales and marketing strategies, customer engagements as well as his passionate commitment to the culture and well-being of the company’s employees. Eben entered the solar market in 2003, first selling and installing residential and commercial systems to business development roles with inverter, module, and tracker manufacturers, until launching RP Construction Services in 2014. Eben lives in Carmel, California, with his family and works out of the company’s headquarters in Monterey, California.

Alex has been with Ampacity, formerly RP Construction Services, since the company’s first days in 2014 and leads the sales team, including the marketing, account management, engineering, contracting, and sales operations teams. Alex is a native New Yorker, now living with his family in sunny Florida and working out of the company’s Tampa office.

Crosby joined Ampacity as Chief Financial Officer in 2024 after advising the company on its sale to Quanta Services. A strong believer in the Ampacity team’s capacity to accelerate the energy transition through passionate, sector-focused distribution, Crosby guides the company’s strategic direction, oversees financial planning and reporting activities, and drives investment decisions across the business. As a leader, he has a bias for action, a commitment to high quality data and analytical rigor, and a deep sense of integrity. Before his involvement with Ampacity, Crosby was a power and renewables-focused investment banker with Guggenheim Partners, where he advised on solar, wind, and energy storage transactions totaling more than two billion dollars. Early in his career, he worked as an economic development consultant focused on food and energy security across seven countries in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. On the weekends, you’ll find Crosby spending time with his community in Burlington, Vermont, appreciating live music, and getting outdoors in the Champlain Valley. Crosby holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA in Mathematics and History from Williams College.

A proven relationship builder and problem solver, Dylan leads the business development team as Executive Vice President of Business Development. With 12 years in the renewables industry, he specializes in educating and connecting customers to optimal solutions for their solar projects. Since joining the team in 2016, he has helped the company become the nation’s leading solar supplier. Prior to joining the company, he worked in the module supply business, where one of his module customers (RPCS) provided an opportunity to get back to his core passion of projects, and the rest is history. Outside of work, Dylan’s time is focused on his family, spending time with his wife and son in Vermont.

Jay Miles is a 16-year solar distribution veteran who’s served multiple leadership roles along his distinguished career at Ampacity. He currently holds the title Vice President of Customer Excellence, a role that keeps him traveling to industry conferences, seminars, and ribbon-cutting events, supporting the marketing and sales team's goals. Jay raised his two adult children in the ski mountains of Utah, where he currently resides. When not traveling for work, Jay enjoys skiing, biking, and fishing with his wife Portia.

Evan Rubin is Vice President of Sales at Ampacity with over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. Evan brings a rare combination of technical credibility and operational leadership to his role and is passionate about building the systems and culture that allow sales organizations to thrive at scale. Since joining Ampacity, he has focused on creating the operational infrastructure and reporting frameworks that give leadership real-time clarity and confidence in the business. By enacting strong project management standards across the sales organization, Evan has fostered a culture of transparency and communication—ensuring that the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

A hands-on leader with deep roots in the field, Evan holds a degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and holds a C10 Electrical Contractor's License.

With over 25 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, Michael Elliott, Vice President of Sales Operations at Ampacity, brings a deep understanding of the market and a commitment to long-term, sustainable solutions. For the past five years at Ampacity, he has focused on developing win-win outcomes for customers, partners, and the company. His approach centers on collaboration, practical problem-solving, and continuous improvement. By supporting the Ampacity team and fostering strong relationships across the supply chain, he works to help deliver what Ampacity strives for most: the best customer experience in the industry.

Patty Thornton is Vice President of Business Development at Ampacity, where she leads a high-performing team dedicated to driving growth and expanding the company’s market presence. With more than a decade of experience in the renewable energy industry, Patty has been instrumental in Ampacity’s success since joining in 2018, helping position the company as one of the nation’s leading solar suppliers. Outside of work, Patty enjoys spending time with her husband in Tampa, Florida, and relaxing on the beautiful beaches along Florida's Gulf Coast.

Matt Benac has been with Ampacity since 2016, starting as an associate project manager. With the help of his stellar team, he has overseen a transformation in safety, quality, work satisfaction, and methodology. Matt entered the solar industry upon completing his studies at Purdue University and currently lives in San Diego with his fiancé and their dog. Outside of work, Matt enjoys traveling, running, and watching his favorite baseball team, the New York Mets.

Andrew brings more than 16 years of human resources, talent acquisition, and business operations experience to Ampacity. Andrew oversees the company’s people operations to ensure it is providing the ultimate employment experience while creating an unmatched company culture. Andrew works closely with company leaders to solve workforce solutions from an internal, external, and contingent perspective. Andrew recognizes the importance of growing, developing, and maintaining a talented and engaged workforce and how it positively impacts the organization’s success. Andrew’s team-oriented mindset and get-it-done attitude reinforces company values of putting people first. Prior to Andrew’s professional portfolio, he proudly served as a Damage Controlmen in the US Coast Guard. He supported maritime and shore-based units. Missions included 9/11 military response, search and rescue, international fishing enforcement, narcotics interdiction, and a public relations tour with the Department of Defense.

Kathy leads the accounting team, joining Ampacity in 2019 after many years as a director within the accounting and finance group for a large specialty retailer. Kathy built the accounting team through a period of rapid growth, developing the people as well as processes which have continued through the company’s acquisition by Quanta Services, Inc. Kathy holds a Master of Accounting degree from San Jose State University as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from UC Santa Cruz. She serves on the board of Girl Scouts of California Central Coast, having been a long-term adult volunteer within the organization. Kathy lives in Santa Cruz, California, with her family.

Nate Russell leads the technology department, including the IT and software development teams. Nate joined the team in 2016 and has helped the company grow to become an industry leader in technology enabled solutions, including the development of FastTrackBuild, Ampacity’s internally developed project management platform. Born and raised in New England, Nate currently lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling the country and spending time with his three-year-old nephew, William.

Mario Colecchia, Senior Structural Engineer at Ampacity, is responsible for the foundation designs of the Array Technologies and Nextpower tracker structures, as well as the design of ancillary structures related to solar projects. Colecchia has been with Ampacity since 2020 and has been working in the solar industry since 2011. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and Structural Engineer (SE) registered in 45 states where Ampacity designs and builds solar projects.

With thousands of projects designed around the country, Colecchia has experience with foundations installed in all varieties of soil and challenging conditions. He is continually looking for optimizations to make projects more economical and constructible.

Prior to transitioning to the solar industry, Colecchia spent his engineering career designing bridges and other transportation-related structures. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and from The University of Texas at Austin with a Master of Science. Colecchia is a former Adjunct Professor of Structures at Essex Community College where he taught an introductory class in steel, concrete, and timber design emphasizing LRFD to sophomore-level college students. His teaching experience began at Princeton University where, as a teaching assistant, he led a class that introduced engineering concepts to liberal arts students and reviewed papers for publication.

In his current role as Senior Director of Supply Chain and Logistics Execution (SCALE), Wes is responsible for warehouse development, supply chain management, and logistics efforts. With more than a decade of experience in the solar industry, ranging from solar tracker installation and field superintendent to warehouse superintendent, his strong suits are training and development. Wes leads with the mindset of investing in people not positions.

Jeremy Haugen serves as Director of Operations at Ampacity, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience across the U.S. renewable energy market, supporting the reliable delivery of utility‑scale wind and solar projects. Since joining Ampacity in 2023, Jeremy has played a key role in building and scaling the company’s electrical division. Prior to Ampacity, Jeremy held senior leadership roles at Wanzek Construction and NextEra Energy, where he supported the construction, energization, and operation of large‑scale electrical infrastructure nationwide. As Director of Operations, Jeremy oversees execution from Ampacity’s 300,000‑square‑foot electrical warehouse in Des Moines, Iowa. Working closely with leadership, supply chain and sales, ensuring long‑lead‑time electrical materials are strategically sourced, stocked, and aligned with customer needs—supporting schedule certainty and on‑time energization. Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys spending time with family, traveling—particularly to warm, coastal destinations—and riding his Harley whenever time allows.

Paul Towber is the Senior Director of Project Design and oversees/coordinates the structural, topography, and material teams as they develop project designs for salespeople and customers. Paul first joined Ampacity as a project analyst for the sales team in 2018 after completing his undergraduate studies from Sacramento State University and quickly developed the design team into an outfit that balances both quality and efficiency in all of its deliverables. Paul’s team has grown tenfold since its inception, and credits the team’s penchant for excellence and completeness as one of the key reasons that Ampacity stands out in the booming solar market.

Bri Bruce serves as the Senior Director of Marketing, spearheading the company’s internal and external marketing initiatives, and brings to the company more than 13 years of experience in marketing, graphic design, publishing, and media relations for both corporate companies and small businesses. Since joining in 2017, Bri has overseen the development and implementation of the company’s marketing strategy, executing exciting and creative marketing initiatives to drive growth, foster customer and partner relationships, and enhance brand exposure and market awareness. Bri previously served in digital media and sales development roles in the technology industry, and has held roles as a content development manager, brand specialist, editor, and graphic designer for various publishing companies. Bri holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and has post-graduate education from University of California at Berkeley in professional editing and holds a certificate in Business Marketing Strategy from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. Aside from her professional career, Bri is also a widely published author and award-winning film producer.
